Roberto Pragliola he devised the technique of throwing Total (TLT) recognized internationally as “Italian Flyfishing Style”. To date, is considered one of the most popular and important fly anglers the Italian and international scene.

Throughout his long career he has, among other things, founded the magazine “Fly and Spinning - (Mosca e Spinning)” and “the Italian Fly fishing School- Scuola Italiana Mosca” (SIM). and’ author of three books on fly fishing (il Pescatore con la mosca , Trote e mosche in acque veloci. Olimpia editions , Magia sull’acqua. Hoepli) as well as many articles on the most important magazines from the '70s until today.

He designed fishing rods for important Italian and foreign companies.

Roberto Pragliola is the founding president of the Italian Fly Fishing.

and’ Born in Florence in 1937. He spent his youth in Fiumalbo (MO) to come back to his native city in the late 40 . Today he lives in Serravalle Pistoiese (PT).
